Premium Irish paint brand Colourtrend has partnered with SEEK Urban Arts Festival for the second consecutive year to provide quality paint to helping reinvigorate and refresh town centre spaces across Dundalk.
The festival, which kicked off on Friday 7 July and runs until the end of the month, sees established and emerging artists locally, nationally and internationally, painting large-scale murals in town centre locations which illustrate a character or moment from Dundalk’s rich history and heritage.
For the second year in row, General Paints Group are proud to be providing the paint used for the murals across the town – supporting the artists to realise their vision. Our paints are developed to withstand the Irish climate meaning the murals stay vibrant and fresh for longer.
Speaking about the partnership our Managing Director, Rachel O’Connor said: “The SEEK Festival is an innovative way of bringing culture and art to Dundalk – already a vibrant hub for creativity, so we’re delighted to continue to support the event.
“Heritage is important to us at Colourtrend, with our own Irish heritage front of our minds, so to partner with SEEK on telling Dundalk’s story and connecting people to the history of the town makes sense.
“We also know the community in Dundalk through our customer and staff team networks, and as an Irish business we want to support the communities where we work and live.
“We’re excited about the line-up of artists for the 2023 festival – an incredible, curated range of talent. Last year, the quality of the work was outstanding, so we can’t wait to see what this year’s festival will produce.
“At Colourtrend, quality is at the heart of everything we do – so it’s exciting to be in the hands of artists known for the quality of their work. Our exterior paints range is specifically developed to withstand Irish weather so we’re proud to be able to support the artists in making their work enduringly vibrant and beautiful.”
